Maryanne -- One of the funniest parts of the movie was Igor's hump moving from side to back to other side from scene to scene. The genius of Mel Brooks. --Jan

Onie -- You are correct; the bump/wart/hump/nodule/protrusion/hill/lump/feely thing is used for the visually impaired and for those that work in low lighting conditions. Same think on some keyboards as a home key for touch typists as well. I am quite impressed by the trivia as you have to figure: what are the odds of them all departing in the same month (no better than one out of twelve)? Interesting. And all accomplished comedians in the same movie! There are very few movies I can watch more than once but this is one of them. P. J. Hogan's "Muriel's Wedding" and a couple of others are worth watching anytime too. --Jan

~~GRIN~~ Jan... If I remember correctly from long ago, the nodule, wart, hump, bump..... is there for those sight impaired... It's central to the numbers lay-out... A little like braille... :)
Young Frankenstein: You know, I'm a rather brilliant surgeon. Perhaps I can help you with that hump. Igor: What hump?
I'm still laughing... Was a good fun, clever movie... and a little useless trivia... Did you know that Madeline Khan, Marty Feldman and Peter Boyle all died in December...
Onie...:)

LOL -- I am going to be ribbed about my phone and my nodule! :) You may have guessed -- all my phones have a bump on the "five" key where they are laid out in this manner. Someone decided that these key pads needed a bump (Doyle refers to it as a wart!) as a Home key. I was............................... BEEP --Jan

Hey, Doyle -- Thanks for checking my keypad out. Remember Igor (Marty Feldman) in "Young Frankenstein"? Went like this: Young Frankenstein: You know, I'm a rather brilliant surgeon. Perhaps I can help you with that hump. Igor: What hump?
--Best to you, Jan What wart? I have a "Home" key on my shoulder.
