Hello Rachel! Love the perspective on this, nice work.
Great to hear your experience was a good one. It really is an amazing place. I'm always blown away by the dramatic scenery here. Like you, NZ isn't my home either but I've been living here for 7 years. I still miss it when I have to go away for periods of time though. Where else can you get a crazy mix of surf, mountains and cow country all in one shot? :)

The curves of the water and the line of footprints;the low angle;the silhouettes of the figs in the distance;the texture of the sand ; the use of perspective distortion in accentuating the print in the fg; all come together in creating this beautiful and moody composition.The pic could have benefited from a frame imo.Good work Rachel.

Great view ! I like your low POV, it's an excellent choice. The composition is very nice. I like those tiny people at the horizon. This suits perfect with the footprints. Wonderfull shot with very nice atmosphere. Well done !
