At Sal's suggestion, I played with this in B&W and came to the conclusion that a B&W version of this 81-year-old guy with one leg who wanted none of his wrinkles hidden ("I've earned them") deserved his best in full color glory. The softened B&W version is, I think, pretty good, but not as "in your face" as this guy deserves to be.
It's always amazed and delighted me, Sal, that some of the B&W headshots I took some years ago of kids who were appearing in a student production have had more views than most of my Teddy shots. Makes me proud.
Ok, I like it! Its not him per se, that I thought merritted the B&W treatment but serious poses in general I like better in B&W. Great picture Kev. Sal
