Just a stunning photograph. Thank God you survived to produce it George! The angle and colours gorgeous. Full of life. Reminds me of diving off the Wicklow ruins where my Mum is from. Beautiful picture.

Reading further down, I saw that you didn't need my advise. You're welcome to it anyway. Regards, Rafi

By the way, George, one way of handling such a situation despite acrophobia is to crawl on your belly to the edge & take the photo lying down, with just your head &, of course, camera, over the edge. Ragards, Rafi

Sorry to hear about your acrophobia, George. I know it personally & becoming a parachutist (many many years ago) was an unsuccesful attemt to overcome it, a counterphobic act as we call it. Be that as it may, your overcoming yours is a gift to all of us, resulting in a highly dramatic photo. I put it into my favorites. Thank you for your very kind comments on my recent photos. Best regards, Rafi

Great shot, George!! Though I think you should have gotten a little closer to the edge to cut out the grasses in the foreground!! haha (maybe next time you can just get someone to hold onto your feet while you're lying there!!!!) Cheers, Gary :-P

Thanks, Don. I think I was prone at the time so knee shake was not an issue. I was shocked later to learn that I had seriously frightened my wife and traveling companions.
