Oh man, this is not good. One of the stalwarts leaves and what happens to the rest of us, where do we get our C.B. fix? Yeah I know there's the website but honestly where can we see those beautifully gritty urbanscapes filtered through your unique vision? I miss you already man.
This image is full of such energy and joy that it is utterly ironic that it may well be the last one of yours ever posted. As always the deep shadow threatens to but never quite engulfs the players and pushes them where they belong... front and centre. The angle adds the extra dynamism I've come to expect from your stage work. As usual the shot rocks. All the best my friend, please keep in touch.

Hey big bro,
so you're leaving UF... it's like the teacher leaving the class. You brought me here and now I stay here for myself with lots of questions marks surrounding me. Maybe that's the reason I won't pull the plug now. It's always easy to leave when things are getting difficult. I guess many guys think about leaving now - most of them sitting around and carefully watching what's going on. At least the guys from my friend's list are very "idle" at the moment. Just a few new pictures the last days.
I respect your decision though and I see the point. Go on rocking the rock'n'roll business.

Leaving with a smile...is there any other way to go? I can understand your frustrations. The only reason I choose to stay is because of the friendships that I have made through usefilm. And even though I don't agree with everything that goes on, it truly is the best site for photography I have ever found on the web, and I've been through my fair share of them. I couldn't imagine the huge responsibility of having to run a site like this and to try and please everyone and answer everyone's questions-I'm sure its not easy, and that none of it is truly intended. I am in no way sticking up for Usefilm, I just hate to see anyone whose images I admire so much leaving. You are quite literally the best of the best when it comes to doing concert images. There always great emotions in each peice of work that you display, just like the many wonderful songs that have been written. If you must depart, I bid thee a sorrowful farewell, and wish you much happiness...

I've decided sometimes things look worse than they are. Having misinterpretted events totally in the past I know this. I suspect the selectors of the front page have lifted their game.
Still beyond reasons stated I'm sure moving on will serve you Carlheinz.
Your going means I'll miss the chance to rub shoulders with greatness. It has been a great priviledge.
Discovering u.f. was like stumbling through the back door to one of the most chic gallery openings in town. I've been critiquing away waiting for somebody to notice that I don't know anything at all and getting kicked out. Maybe people just think I'm on something or derranged in an artistic way so I've survived. :)
Your ehibit here has been one of the main events, carelessly unpromoted.
Any way, enough about me.
This is a joy.
Very appropriate seasons greetings/seasons farewells.
The camera means a lot to me. I'll miss your showing me how to use it with spirit..

I honestly think some deletions have been glitches or cleaning due to dupes...but others removed for specific reasons unknown publicly
