  Q. RawShooter Essentials 2006

Asked by Paul Schofield    (K=5970) on 4/15/2007
Hi.

Hope somebody can help with this one as it has left me in the dark.

I have been happily using a Canon EOS350D importing RAW onto my computer using ZoomBrowser EX and then processing the RAW using RawShooter Essentials 2006 (the free download one).

However I have just aquired a Canon EOS30D and road tested it last night. The files imported well onto my PC and I could view them without any problems by using ZoomBrowser. However when I tried to edit the RAWs using RawShooter Essentials, they appear corrupted. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Canon software as I thought it may be a RAW issue and my old ZoomBroswer did not import the exif information. RawShooter is no longer available so I cannot install to reinstall this. However it still views my old RAWs (EOS350D) normally but each photo with the 30D appears as a window of 4 images (screen dump attached).

I do not know what has happened or if it can be fixed. I like the RawShooter program, and am lost around the bundled Canon DigitalPhoto Profesional suite that came with the camera. However, if needs be I can work through it (and have for an image posted this morning) but for the moment would like to work with my old programs until I am more confident.

Any ideas?

Many thanks.

Paul.
