I must say this photo is beautiful... she looks like a doll maybe because of the unfocused face.

Thanks for the memory Katrin. My dad used to bury me in the sand when I was a child...over 40 yrs ago!!! Some things that were fun then still are now obviously!! (note to ken krishnan...dolls tend not to breath and make cracks in the sand as in this picture)

angelo, the picture is exactly as i wanted it. the reactions are exactly as i had expected them as well.
thanks all.
but, angelo, "she" is actually a he ;-) and my 6 year old son nico. he wanted the picture that way. he has strange wishes sometimes, just check my other pics of him, for example "this earth that you walk apon" it is almost at the beginning of my portfolio here.
thanks again everyone.

Extraordinario retrato, con un toque mortuorio y fantasmal. Muy bien hecho!

Very dramatic and quite eerie, almost creepy, Katrin.
Her skin tone is very light and this adds a very macabre aspect to the image. Very well seen and captured by the photographer.
Did you mean to focus on the sand rather than on her face?
