This is a bit over-exposed, but excellently balanced and composed, Ben!
In strong contrast situations like this one, I'd suggest intentionally UNDERexposing by -1 or even -2 EV to preserve the detail in the highlights. The shadow detail can then be restored in Photoshop, PSP or whatever image editing software you use by adjusting shadows.
