Super cute shot here. Very well composed in my opinion. I can agree that the highlights are just a bit too much. I would only suggest shooting a situation like this a bit darker on purpose, since it is far easier to brighten a darker image than it is to darken blown highlights. That is one reason I always shoot Velvia at 50, rather than the 40 that many others do. I can always add density, but rarely take it out if too hot. Just a thought. Still a great capture if you ask me!

Love the foreground and it's dramatic lighting here. The sky also works well but not quite as natural in my opinion. The lightning bolt does not look natural at all. I would simply suggest cloning that out altogther, and get a bit more yellow or gold in the sky to blend in a bit better with the golden foreground colors....just a bit more. Still, even as is it is a nice creation. Aloha.

Very colorful and dramatic lighting Igor. A very nice scene to sit back and enjoy. I bet shooting it was just as nice! Aloha.

I am a color kind of guy you might say. But, I believe that your B&W posted has a more dramatic feel to it. Still, BOTH would work for me. It's nice to have both options I guess! Now, about my arm-trunks.....

Outstanding capture here! Quiet and moody scene. Seems like a painting to me. The only suggestion here, AXE the framing. Far too distracting in my opinion. Otherwise very nice.

I have seen soooo many baby shots so it seems. Yet, this one stands out Kim. The angle, the crop and oh yes...that HAT!! Cute little expression too. The B&W works, but how does the colored version?? Is she yours?? Nice one!

Where you going Jim??

Powerful image here. The first second I saw it, I knew I wanted to crop. Just seems more alive and powerful to me, tightened up a bit. Well done.

Very well captured Igor. Soft, simple and quiet! Only your first image here. You have fans already. I am one too! Aloha.

Wonderful expression here. You seem to have captured a happier moment which is refreshing to see. I would like to see this just a bit brighter, as well as with cropping some of the right side only a bit. Just my opinion here, still VERY well seen captured.

Very creative once again! Thanks for sharing all of the details as well. I like this over the first one. Excellent work Elangs!

Excellent capture Mary Sue. Looks like a painting with the swirling action in the pond. The little boy takes this to another level. Really, a remarkable photograph!

Your use of light and shadows is superb in this Marilia. It does make a somewhat average subject quite dramatic in my opinion, and helps deliver your message of time. I do think if it were even sharper, it would be even more powerful. The wall seems sharp, the ststue a bit soft. Just my opinion though!

Beautiful soft lighting here Tom. I think you composed this perfectly with the foreground hill to the right in just the right spot. I also think the little cloud to the left adds balance here as well. You cannot beat the exposure either. Soft, colorful, very well seen and captured!

I like how you caught this image! The fire-girl is well placed towards the left, rather than center. This allows us to also see the surrounding scene much better. Excellent movement with the fire, nicely exposed and good amount of sharpness as well. Very well done!

The limited DOF IS what makes portraits so effective. That is one of the great differences between a snapshot and profesional portrait. In addition, you composed the kitty diagonally which adds another nice change to an already very common type of shot. Very nice indeed!

A nice colorful and sharp image Lucas. It certainly does have a tropical feel to it. Perhaps the most important piece of a shot like this or most any wildlife close-ups (in my opinion) is the EYE. It simply must be sharp. In this case you are quite successful. You could dodge a few of the darker spots on this and make it just a bit brighter, such as around his beak and neck. Here is another crop that still works and almost gives you a completely different look. I like both actually. Either way, because you did such a nice job, there are many things you could do with this. Well done!

A beautiful setting, and a nice touch with the blue sky. The falls itself is over-exposed quite a bit in this case. I would also suggest trying a crop, taking out just some of the bottom foliage to focus more on the falls and sky. But the falls itself would be the greatest priority...there should always be at least some detail in the water. Otherwise, a very nice shot!

Hi Jorge, I like the idea behind this image. A simple image of moving water with the stationary rocks is almost always a winner. In this case, the white water is quite a bit blown out. What I mean by that is there is no detail, it is too bright in fact. I would also suggest a steadier hand if possible so that you do not have to sharpen so much. If you captured this with a tripod, and tried a longer exposure, you may be very pleasantly surprised!! Keep shooting.

Why don't you add some information Hayri?? People want to learn something while viewing all these photographs you keep posting.

I like the sky immensely here. The foreground water (taking up half the image) is a bit too much in my opinion. I think by cropping, you focus even more on that dramatic sky. Just my opinion. Still a nice capture!

Your buddy Giuliano is going down the list, sending the exact same nice shot...pls look at my works garbage. One after the other. Could not even take the time to spell please. This is exactly what's ruining the site! Sorry.

A really nice shot with a great sky background. A polarizor would really work wonders with this. Still a very capture!

He looks like a magician as well Elangs. I think you have captured him in a nice way, would just prefer a bit more detail in his costume....kind of real black here. Always nice to see your work!!

I recognize that wide angle lens working with this image. Beautifully composed in my opinion. I also like the contrast of colors with the blues and reds. I would simply suggest sharpening this with unsharp mask about 25-30 points. Nice capture!

I like the contrasts in colors with this. Also think you have composed this well. The polarizor in this case is not quite even which accounts for the darker blue patches. Once in a while this happens to me also, but simply do not really know why. A bit more sharpness in Photoshop would not hurt either. Still a Nice shot Danny!

Great tones, and certainly a thought provoking image. Makes you really wonder what the future holds for these younger ones. Very well seen and captured!! A slight crop would not hurt this, but still fine just as is.

This is an excellent portrait. Nery natural looking, no makeup, yet very clean and attractive. A great pose as well. I really like this approach....is quite a bit different than the normal portraits. Well done!

Very well composed, and excellent colors here. I just have to agree with many others that the girl really takes away from this scene. You are just drawn towards her. Cloning tool easily takes care of it. Otherwise outstanding!!

Nice colors and interesting composition. The lights are over-exposed however. Perhaps some burning in Photoshop will help....otherwise nice.
