Great moment captured very well Kim. I am sure they would like both this and the untouched version. This is really good. 7

I did two weddings for friends....and I can honestly say, Two to many!

Beautifully composed with each portion of the image offering something to enjoy. I like both the action between the water and rocks, as well as the mansion the hill. What a nice location. My only suggestion here Scott, would be to try this with a tripod and some longer exposure times to blur the water a bit for an even more dreamlike scene. Still, this is beautiful just as it is! 7

Very fascinating tree here. I thought it was like some kind of poster paper that was glued on.... or something like that anyway. Neat!

Nice idea here Isaac. However, one very important lesson that I learned over here is to make sure your horizon is level. It always gives it a more professional appearance. I added some color, contrast and sharpness in Photoshop to give this another look. Keep posting!! Aloha.

Simple yet dramatic lighting and capture. The contrasts here in this one image are captivating to say the least. Simply beautiful!

Try it again.

Love this concept Igor. I would just suggest trying this as a panoramic as well. It sort of eliminates some of the unnecessary water on the bottom. I brightened and sharpened a bit as well. Aloha.

Outstanding capture Kim. I think the composition here is what really stands out in my opinion. The depth is also excellent which is always important when shooting these macro-flower scenes. It also appears that your scanner does these types of images better than most others....or perhaps you have a new scanner as well as camera and lenses. The only thing I would personally look at adding is perhaps just a bit more contrast as well as a few points of saturation to give only a little added pop. Either way another excellent photograph as is!

By the way the camera is called an N-80, not an F-80....just in case some start looking to check that camera out. How do you like so far??

A nice scene again Igor, I particularly like the movement of the water on the shoreline. You also know I like most all your work.

Here, I have just a bit of advice however. Since you used the longer exposure to capture the moving water (very nicely I might add) the entire image would be even more effective if another part of this image was crisp, clear and bright. The foreground rocks for example would help balance the scene even more effectively if they stood out just a bit more. I dodged and sharpened as much as I could to see if it helps. Just an idea here. Aloha.

While I do like your original post here, as well as the composition. I personally think it is a bit too dark, especially down below. Although, I can also see how that is what adds to the appeal here as well. Truth is, there are probably a lot of things you that you could do with this image Kim which in my opinion is always nice to have. Here is simply another idea. Cropped, brightened, sharpened and a few points of sat. as well as extra green. Ever get that camera yet Kim??

I know all about this place Levi. I like the composition here as well as the nice tones in the water. I would perhaps burn the sky down just a bit, but that's just my opinion. Your B&Ws are very good. Must be nice to work in such a beautiful setting!! Aloha my fellow island brother.

Neat macro Levi. If you used "cory's" camera, does that mean he really owns the image as well?? I'll be sure to tell him about it! Aloha!

Well composed, great colors, and the fog or mist is the icing on the cake! The photoshop helps. Did you simply try to despeckle, rather than blur?? Just curious. Beautiful beautiful beautiful........

Nice colors and exposure again. Having a portion of the house in the left side takes away from the serenity in my opinion. It would also be nice IF the shoreline was just a bit more visible. The house can easily be cropped, but is there any more shoreline?? Still, I like a lot about this and hope my suggestions are taken just as suggestions and not personally. You generally have excellent work.

While the colors are simply outstanding and the exposure dead on, I am not so sure about the composition here. It comes across as being out of proportion or even possibly too busy in my opinion. The bush in the front is more or less sort of in the way and too dark. I am not trying to be nitpicking either. It just does not seem to fit or lay out very well. Perhaps some crop may help. Still, I also believe that the gradiation of bright to dark colors, as well a crisp clear sun, still make this a pleasure to enjoy. Aloha.

Super cute shot here. Very well composed in my opinion. I can agree that the highlights are just a bit too much. I would only suggest shooting a situation like this a bit darker on purpose, since it is far easier to brighten a darker image than it is to darken blown highlights. That is one reason I always shoot Velvia at 50, rather than the 40 that many others do. I can always add density, but rarely take it out if too hot. Just a thought. Still a great capture if you ask me!

Love the foreground and it's dramatic lighting here. The sky also works well but not quite as natural in my opinion. The lightning bolt does not look natural at all. I would simply suggest cloning that out altogther, and get a bit more yellow or gold in the sky to blend in a bit better with the golden foreground colors....just a bit more. Still, even as is it is a nice creation. Aloha.

I am a color kind of guy you might say. But, I believe that your B&W posted has a more dramatic feel to it. Still, BOTH would work for me. It's nice to have both options I guess! Now, about my arm-trunks.....

Outstanding capture here! Quiet and moody scene. Seems like a painting to me. The only suggestion here, AXE the framing. Far too distracting in my opinion. Otherwise very nice.

I have seen soooo many baby shots so it seems. Yet, this one stands out Kim. The angle, the crop and oh yes...that HAT!! Cute little expression too. The B&W works, but how does the colored version?? Is she yours?? Nice one!

Where you going Jim??

Powerful image here. The first second I saw it, I knew I wanted to crop. Just seems more alive and powerful to me, tightened up a bit. Well done.
